The RainWing village, located in the lush Rainforest Kingdom, is a vibrant and unique settlement built almost entirely within the trees. The homes are primarily treehouses connected by wide vine walkways, often decorated with bright flowers instead of jewels or metals. Many of the structures are open to the sky or lightly enclosed with woven vines and leaves, allowing sunlight to filter through the canopy. The village is designed to blend into its surroundings, with leaf-covered roofs that make it difficult to spot from above. Hammocks made of vines and petals hang between trees, and platforms serve as gathering spaces, including a central area known as the Arboretum, where events and communal activities take place.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the RainWing village is its communal lifestyle, especially when it comes to raising dragonets. Eggs are kept together in large hatcheries and cared for collectively by the tribe rather than by individual parents, creating a strong sense of shared responsibility. Before Queen Glory’s reign, the tribe did not even track individual eggs, though she later worked to change this system to ensure none were lost. The queen resides in a slightly elevated treehouse near the center of the village, but it is not overly grand compared to others, reflecting the RainWings’ generally relaxed and egalitarian culture. Overall, the village reflects the RainWings’ peaceful, nature-oriented way of life, emphasizing comfort, community, and harmony with their environment.
Inside, the palace contains notable features like the Royal Hatchery, kept warm by bubbling currents, and the Bubble Jet Garden, where young dragonets play. Though beautiful, the Deep Palace also reflects the strict and sometimes ruthless rule of the SeaWing monarchy.
