The Talons of Peace is an organization founded by the SeaWing Nautilus during the War of SandWing Succession to put a stop to the war.

They worked in secret to fulfill Morrowseer’s prophecy that they completely believed in, hiding the five dragonets of the prophecy in a cave near the SkyWing palace and assigning guardians to them to protect them and raise them into the dragons they needed them to be to end the war. The dragonets of destiny were Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny. Originally a SkyWing egg was to be hatched that night, but Burn destroyed it in hopes of ruining the prophecy altogether. Their guardians were Asha, Dune, Hvitur, Kestrel, and Webs, though only Dune, Kestrel and Webs survived long enough to see the dragonets’ eggs hatch. In the meantime, they raised a group of false dragonets, in case the true dragonets weren’t as they expected them to be.

Other members of the organization include Avalanche and Winter, and many other dragons doing various tasks for the Talons, such as spying from within their tribes. After the end of the war, they worked to unite the tribes of Pyrrhia. One of their projects was raising the Sanctuary, a multi-tribe town. Their last known leader was the SeaWing Riptide, Webs’ son.
