Hello lovely scavengers and dragons of Pyrrhia!

I am Orion Everglade and I would like to invite you on a trip through the wonderful World of Jade Mountain! We will be interviewing people from all over the site to get to know them and their jobs better. In your own words, what does it mean to be an Overseer?

To be the Overseer, it means that first and foremost it is my job to oversee! Therefore I spot everything!! I’m usually always lurking around in chat and I am here to help. By being the Overseer, it is my job to ensure the running of the site and in doing so I communicate with Sable and all the staff daily to make sure you are all having the best time and are staying safe online.

Which parts of your job do you enjoy most and least?

The best bit of my job is watching you all grow and develop your character. I really love watching you gain confidence and thrive around the site as you come into your own and make friends and have fun. That is without a doubt the best bit. The least bit is often the admin… you wouldn’t believe how much paperwork has to go on in the background to keep things running, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! JM Forever!!

What's the hardest part of the job?

The hardest part of my job is often making the tough decisions. No decisions we make are impulse and everything is thought through but sometimes I have to be “the bad guy” and that is always hard, the toughest decisions always come to me and Sable but we do it fairly for JM.

What are some pros and cons of your job?

Some of the Pros:
Interacting every day and making new friends with all of you!
Watching the site grow and develop with you all
Making a fandom thrive and have an amazing community


Some of the Cons:
Doing the paperwork!!
Dealing with tricky tech issues!
Always forever learning the fandom ;) but ssssh!!

If you could do any other job on site, what would you choose?

Oh if i could do any other job, that would be so tricky!! I think each job is amazing and unique. But I have always loved Winglet Leaders so maybe that so I can continue to watch the Winglets grow…. or maybe plot? Could you imagine the chaos we could cause!?!

If your job could have any other color which one would you choose?

Oh I definitely would pick either the purple (which is my favourite colour ever!) or maybe something so vivid like a bright pink, because it is fabulous!! What colour would you put me as?
