Hello lovely scavengers and dragons of Pyrrhia!

I am Orion Everglade and I would like to invite you on a trip through the wonderful World of Jade Mountain! We will be interviewing people from all over the site to get to know them and their jobs better. For our next interview blog we have none other thant...drumroll please...Wesley Finnian our amazing Preceptor of Discussion and Debate!

In your own words, what does it mean to be a Preceptor?

To have the ability to pass along information so others might learn from it. To help others grasp a concept that will assist in the future. Something they will need to be their lives.

Which parts of your job do you enjoy most and least?

I do not really believe there is a most or least favorite part. I enjoy all aspects of the job, as well as everything it has to offer. There is really not anything I love more than another. I enjoy the opportunity of being able to assist, as well as give information. I like the workload, as well as the opportunity to meet new people. Everything about the position I really do like.

What's the hardest part of the job?

I guess the hardest part is picking what exactly to base a lesson on. There are just so many ideas I could choose from. Having to decide on just one can be difficult at times. Such as I can write numerous lessons over the same topic, but I can only pick one of them to go on the plan. I like all of what I like but I do like to have each week/month be about a different topic.

What are some pros and cons of your job?

I guess the pros, outlay the cons. Being able to view the work, being able to actually create the lessons. I love planning, and coming up with ideas. I especially love the actual writing portion. Trying to find something that is interactive but also involves character development. As for the cons, I'd say the limited number of people that can take the class. With it being a higher year there isn't a lot that can take the class. Though a pro is the anticipation of someone doing so one day!

If you could do any other job on site, what would you choose?

Now that is a very difficult decision, because if I could I would do all of them. A rainbow of color?! Now do not get me wrong those who are in the position are amazing! Though I'd say Headmaster of the Academy, seems pretty neat. As well as the leader of the winglets. Though I must say those Timely Squabble writers sure seem like a curious bunch to be apart of!

If your job could have any other color which one would you choose?

I would pick the color gold, or silver. Something shiny that stands out!
