Hello everyone! Welcome back to another volume of Let’s Bake it! For those who don’t know Let’s Bake it is a blog featuring many different recipes you can make just with some simple ingredients! I hope you all enjoy and make sure to check out all the other blogs as well and show your support!

 

Today is a new recipe, one I’ve never heard of before but want to try! Today I’ll be telling you how to make Nutella Hand Pies! I’m a big big fan of Nutella and cannot wait to try this amazing recipe! Do look forward to it and tell me if it tastes chefs kiss or not, I would love to hear all about it!

Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons Nutella
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons grated orange zest
FOR THE ICING
  • 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • Additional Nutella, optional
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°. In a small bowl, whisk egg with water.
  2. Unfold puff pastry; cut into 9 squares.
  3. Place 1 teaspoon Nutella in center of each; sprinkle with orange zest.
  4. Brush edges of pastry with egg mixture.
  5. Fold 1 corner over filling to form a triangle; press edges to seal.
  6. Transfer to an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake until pastry is golden brown and cooked through, 17-20 minutes. Cool slightly.
  8. In a small bowl, mix confectioners' sugar, orange juice and orange zest; drizzle over pies.
  9. If desired, warm additional Nutella in a microwave and drizzle over tops.
