Good day, dear dragonets and great dragons!!

Again I am here to show you the wonderful work that our little dragonets do in their classes.
Always so focused, attentive and doing wonderful duties.
This week, the chosen task has been of the subject of Art, teached by our preceptor Kella Winters.
And the amazing dragonet that has made it has been: Ilara Arrowood.

Art - Year One: The Visual Arts Part One - An Introduction To The Arts

Dear "The Arts" Diary,

Hi! I'm Ilara "Aspen" Arrowood! My mom's a Seawing and my dad's a Silkwing! I'm 11 right now, and I just came to Jade Mountain. It looks so new and exciting! I'm sure I'll learn tons of new stuff here. I might be a mite (pun intended) homesick though... Dad came to Pyrrhia to learn more about the Pyrrhian dragons, and our family lived together on a little island a little off from the Kingdom of the Sea, where Mom worked as a guard in the palace. I have a little sister, Amber. Oh dear me, am I rambling?

Anyways, let me get back to the assignment. I'm in the Copper Winglet! I might look a little foolish at times, and I get sugar high easily, but Mom always said that I had the sharpest brain in the family :D. I've decided to take this class because I don't usually do anything artistic - I'm more of a tomboy-bookworm-eccentric-inventor type of dragon, rather than the artsy type. It'll be fun to learn more about something new! I'm sure of it! I don't really have any expectations - I don't like to be let down. Still, I expect that I'll be able to tell different kinds of art apart. I hope to learn how to build buildings. When I grow up, I want to design my own home!

Like I said before, I've never really had a passion for art, so a lot of what I'll learn will be a first. I think it'll be so much fun! I love learning new things! I was a bit intimidated by Preceptor Wynters, but I think it'll be fine.

Hmm... one interesting fact about me? I don't really have any interesting talents or attributes... I'm really an average dragon! The dragon-next-door! But... well, I guess there was this one time where Dad took me to visit Pantala when I was six and I underwent my Metamorphosis there! Wait... but that's not really special. Hmm... well........ OH! I remember! In honor of my last name, Dad taught me how to shoot a bow and arrow in dragon form!

That's it for today!

Dragonly-Awesomely Yours,

Ilara "Aspen" Arrowood
