Hello, hello, lovely Dragons!!
Here Yahli "Velvet" again with a new section:

Today I bring you a slightly different section, although obviously the dragons are still the protagonists.
I have talked about some important dragons from mythologies, but today I am going to tell you about the Dragon NAMES. So let's see what it is about.

Generally, cultures and mythologies believe in the power of certain words as well as in that of the names that are given to newborns, which in fact are chosen precisely to try to transfer part of that power to them.
Creatures as magnificent and powerful as dragons have names full of strength and magic. They are ancient and intelligent beings and have their own ancient language closely linked to sorcery; so their names are often strange and difficult for humans to pronounce, but they are filled with great magical power.

Now I'm going to show you (between now and maybe a couple more future installments) the most famous names as well as the most mysterious, from worlds parallel to ours. And you can read their stories and hidden meanings.
Some Dragon Names from the most famous sagas
Some great famous sagas have dragons as characters, or even protagonists in some case). These are perhaps the most popular names, the names that have already been proudly carried by powerful members of the supreme reptilian race.

Today I present to you the Dragons of Game of Thrones:

Viserion: Dragon with light to yellowish scales to which Daenerys gave a name inspired by that of her brother Viserys hers. After being killed by the King of the night he would go on to become a wraith dragon, becoming more terrible and helping him command his army of undead.

I love this one in particular, as he is my Dragon FC

Rhaegal: Greenish scale dragon that Daenerys gave that name in memory of her brother Rhaegar hers. During some battles it becomes the mount of Jon Snow, in whom he seems to intuit a Targaryen.

Drogon: Dragon with dark scales and reddish wings, her name was imposed by Daenerys in memory of her husband Drogo of her. Also called the winged shadow, he was the eldest and also the most powerful and aggressive of the three, the mount of the Dragon Queen.

And this is all for today, dear Dragons. Enjoy your week!
