Good evening, dear dragonets and great dragons!!
As you have already read in the teaser, we are back !!
We can't help but show the wonderful work that our little dragonets do in their classes.
Always so focused, attentive and doing wonderful duties.
This week, the chosen task has been of the subject of History, teached by our preceptor Owain Saunders.
And the amazing dragonet that has made it has been: Kallista Starfrond.
The Talons of Peace was an organization formed after the delivery of the Dragonet Prophecy in order to ensure its fulfillment. It was composed of various dragons from every tribe. Several of these dragons went into the different kingdoms to retrieve eggs, as directed by the prophecy. These dragons were to raise the five dragonets in a hidden location under the Claws of the Clouds mountains in the Sky Kingdom. The five dragons instructed to do so were Dune (Sandwing), Webs (Seawing), Kestrel (Skywing), Asha (Mudwing), and Hvitur (Icewing). Unfortunately, Hvitur never made it to the mountains with the Skywing egg, as he was discovered by Burn and killed along with the egg. Asha also perished before the dragonets were hatched, barely reaching the hidden cave with Clay's egg before she died of her wounds. Kestel, Dune, and Webs raised the dragonets until they escaped, two years before the Talons of Peace had planned to send them out to stop the war.
When they were attacked by Queen Scarlet, they unintentionally led her back to the mountain hideout, where she killed Dune and took the dragonets prisoner. Kestrel was later killed by Blister and her body was found in the Sea Kingdom. Webs was the only guardian of the Dragonets of Destiny to survive, eventually becoming a teacher at Jade Mountain Academy.
I was surprised that the preceptor called on me at the beginning of class. I usually make an effort not to be noticed, even though I enjoy history class. Talking in front of people isn't exactly my forte, but I did manage to answer his question, mentioning that the reason that Kestrel was chosen for the job of raising the dragonets was because her own twin dragonets were both believed to be dead.
