SoMe History with Roman
Edition 8
Hello, Academians!
It’s Roman here, bringing to you another little bundle of knowledge on Pyrrhia and Pantala’s history. Today, we’ll be learning about the dragonet Moonwatcher and the attacks on Jade Mountain Academy in 5012 AS.
On just her first day in the Academy, the young, telepathic NightWing, Moonwatcher overheard an unsettling conversation. Queen Scarlet of the SkyWings had visited a member of the Academy with a dreamvisitor to plan murder.
Only a couple of days later, she was hit with the vision of the history classroom, where she was heading at the time, exploding in fire. The explosions would have killed her and all her classmates, had she not warned them of the danger. Unfortunately, Carnelian and Bigtail, a SkyWing and a MudWing student, respectively, were confirmed to have been killed in the flames. Tamarin of the RainWings was badly hurt, but survived the explosion. Just the following day, with the Academy still shook from the fire and the deaths it caused, a stalactite, covered in obvious scratch marks at the base fell, only barely missing the IceWings Icicle and Winter.
Reading Icicle’s mind, Moon realized who Jade Mountain’s attacker was. I will be revealing to you the rest of this slice of history in the next edition of SoMe History with Roman, so make sure to come back next time, if you want to find out who it was!
