Hello all of you reading this post! This is something new starting up as of January 2024! That being Topic of the Month! Each month me and the rest of the Hall-Monitor Team will select a topic each month to dub with the title Topic of the Month. So with that ladies, gents, non-binary aqcuaints let's roll onto this month's Topic of the Month!

Located and taking place in the Great Hall, we have the topic that's titled, "OW, EVERYTHING HURTS- Oh look, A Bagel!'  Now, that's quite an intriguing title isn't it? Well, this topic seems to start off with none other than the Academy's very own History Preceptor, Kodiak Rosier, waking up one night in his office and then going to the Great Hall for a midnight snack... Well In all fairness, he did miss dinner, so grabbing a bagel off a random plate in the Great Hall, while albeit not the smartest move, definitely one that couldn't be denied would have definitely happened if hungry. Well, news flah! Our academy's lovely,  Scavenger Studies Preceptor, Anaconda burn was also enjoying her night in the great hall! Midnight what a time to be awake. Now, just like Preceptor Kodi, Anaconda also seemed to miss dinner and snatch a bagel from the tray. However, just when Anaconda was about to bite into her glorious bagel that's when Kodiak came up and snagged a bagel for himself! 

And then, after getting asked by his co-worker if he was also a Preceptor Kodiak seemed to be startled. Then they went onto a very nice and pleasant get to know you conversation all about teaching in their classes as well as, you guessed it, bagels! However then there was another face in the great hall late at night during this midnight bagel snacking session. None other than the lovely, well known friendly face of Qaylroi Dalzrath!

Now, Qaylroi had fallen asleep in the academy hallway of all places. Not sure how nobody found and woke him up but here we are anyways. Now, when he did get up he walked around and called out to no avail of finding anyone. But after Kodiak and Anaconda's conversation had taken a pause they heard him call out and didn't realize who it was and Anaconda even suggested that it was a ghost! A ghost! Can you imagine a ghost in the academy? Then, after much walking around he made it to the great hall where Qaylroi eventually sat down and asked for his own bagel.

Now, not even a few minutes later another person ran into the Great hall and proclaimed their love for bagels by screaming! This was none other than the lovely student, Maya Spirit! Though, this proclamtional scream was very startling and had scared Kodiak out of his chair..
