Darkstalker in the WoF Universe
Greetings, Dragons of Pyrrhia & Pantala.
Today we'll be talking about the dragon, Darkstalker! Today will primarily be a fan article so do not fear to much about spoilers but if you want to be extra careful, make sure you tread with caution. Anyway, let's jump right into our talk about Darkstalker!
Who exactly is Darkstalker?
For those who don't know, Darkstalker is hybrid of the NightWing and IceWing tribe. He is known to be one of the most powerful dragons in the history of Pyrrhia.
Darkstalker was born with several, powerful abilities which included prophetic powers, mind reading, and animus magic. With these abilities, this is why he was known to be the most powerful. With this great power, eventually came the fall of Darkstalker. He became evil, violent, and unpredictable. This behavior is what eventually led to his downfall when he was trapped beneath Agate Mountain.
Some defining features of Darkstalker include his black scales with large wings. He mainly displays the physical apperance of a NightWing aside from the white line of scales where his wings meet his body. It is said that when Clearsight would touch them, they were cold.
Fans' Opinions of Darkstalker!
What do the fans think of Darkstalker? Personally, I love everything from their story, their appearance, and abilities. I felt as though their story was well written and very captivating. It was a rather unique story for a Juvinall Book
Darkstalker's apperance from fanart and official art is also very detailed and beautiful. You can tell from his face that he is an older dragon and his NightWing side really shines through. With him being a Hybrid I would love to see a more of his IceWing side but his fine details also made for a unique character design.
Lastly, this dragon also had some very powerful skills you do not see often enough in the story. His powerful combination of prophetic powers, mind reading, and animus magic make for some very dangerous situations. You can clearly see why there is the fall of Darkstalker. Any one of these abilities would be enough to make someone thirsty for power. I would have loved to see what Darkstalker would have been like if he had used his power for good and to help others.
How would this power have changed him and the story? Some might think he would still go mad but possibly that could have been avoided with the right guidance. Clearsight may have continued to be in a relationship with Darkstalker and they could have worked together to make the world a better place.
