Welcome to another blog post. Today we are going to look closer at the amazing character Glory from the Wings of Fire book Serie. Glory is an amazing character and I'm sure you don’t want to miss this! It might contain spoilers.
Glory is a Rainwing and one of the main characters in the first book. She is one of the Dragonets of Destiny, who together as a team, are supposed to save the world from war. She starts off as an underestimated member of the group due to the fact that she is a Rainwing. There are a lot of prejudices against Rainwings and because of how they have been treated, Glory starts as a rather cynical and sarcastic dragon but with time she grows into a valuable member of the group.
Throughout the series, Glory’s character goes through several changes and she develops as a dragon. From the beginning, she was both sarcastic and cynical but with time she proved herself to be a loyal friend who is both brave and intelligent. She has a great deal of skills, like the ability to shift color and camouflage herself in any environment, and she basically becomes invisible because of this. With time, she developed her leadership skills, and in the end, she proved to be a good leader.
During the Wings of Fire series, Glory managed to go through a lot of different adventures. One of these is when she found out that the Nightwings had been kidnapping Rainwings for several years and used them for experiments. Being the dragon she was, Glory decided that she would do whatever it took to rescue the Rainwings. It wasn't an easy mission, but Glory was determined to stop the Nightwings' cruelty. Together with other dragonets, Glory infiltrated the Nightwings by disguising themselves and they managed to find the prison where the Rainwings were captured. Glory leads a very dangerous mission to free the imprisoned Rainwings, which eventually succeeds. It's not an easy mission but during this mission, Glory shows off her leadership skills.
Glory isn't just a character in the Wings of fire series, she is also a symbol of overcoming prejudice and underestimation. She is a strong leader who fights for what she believes in, and she has a strong set of abilities that she uses to help her tribe. She is brave and if she has to, she will stand up for those who need her help. Would you stand up for your people? Would you dare to confront the leadership of the Nightwings the same way Glory did? If there is one thing I've learned from Glory, it's that you shouldn't underestimate anyone, because anyone can become a strong leader if they just do what they believe is right.
