In WoF, Albatross was an old male SeaWing prince who was introduced in Darkstalker. He was the first known SeaWing animus dragon in SeaWing history and a member of the SeaWing royal family as Queen Lagoon's brother and Fathom and Pearl's grandfather. He committed the Royal SeaWing Massacre, where he murdered most of the royal family and a SkyWing princess before he was stopped and killed by Fathom and Indigo. In wof, Albatross is still mentioned in many texts and scrolls due to his position as the villain of one of the most devastating issues of animus magic abuse in Pyrrhian history. In WoF, Albatross was described as being taller than Lagoon, with powerful, long, magnificent wings. His scales were oddly colored and his eyes were bizarre and fierce, and a deep, dark blue color that they appeared nearly black. He was firm, shriveled, stately, and intimidating. In wof, Albatross was compared to an old seagull by Fathom due to the color of his scales and his cunning expression. He also had small teeth and a long, hooked snout. His siblings noted that his tail was a funny shape, and Fathom stated that he had a dry, warm, and "fish-smelling" laugh. Directly before the start of the Royal SeaWing Massacre, Albatross looked as though he was "carved from stone," as if his emotions had been chipped away.
Albatross wof was an incredibly busy and untouchable figure, even to other members of royalty. He was beloved, respected, and crucial to the tribe. Albatross was known for being jovial, kind, playful, calm, and friendly. He took pride in his animus magic and the objects he created with it but didn't seem to get excited about much else. It was suggested that he had a fondness for his daughter, Manta, and was a loyal husband. After the death of his wife, he stubbornly refused to think of remarriage, as mentioned by Queen Lagoon. Ho
In WoF, Albatross was noticeably late to the party, but he appeared soon after Lagoon explained a fountain to the SkyWings, which had been enchanted by Albatross. The SkyWings panicked when they saw him. Lagoon then started bragging about how she has two wonderful animus dragons working for her. The queen was talking about her new ideas, and Albatross mentioned that he didn't like any of them. The queen became upset and reminded him that he would never be done repaying her for what he did to his sister, Sapphire. Albatross then enchanted a knife to slit Queen Lagoon's throat, killing her. The knife then went for Sunset and Eagle. After killing all the SeaWings he could get, Albatross began to hunt for Fathom. He found him and Indigo inside a pavilion overlooking the water, hiding underneath a wooden boat, and threw the boat off them. Indigo attacked Albatross, and Fathom, wanting to protect Indigo, enchanted fishing spears to kill his grandfather. Albatross tried to counter his magic, but Indigo stopped him by seizing his snout and biting his ear. The spears smashed into Albatross's side, killing him.
