Welcome everyone from your Social Media Manager, Arverna 'Aurora' Destiny! Apologies for the late article this week, so let's jump straight to it! We have with us today, our amazing Gold Winglet Leader: Violette 'Shadow' Huntress!

Hey Arverna! Thanks so much for having me :) It's been really fun! I've actually held this job in the past on a separate account, so it's really fun to go back and see what all the other amazing winglet leaders have contributed between then and now. My favorite part is definitely picking the Goldie of the Week, there's so many amazing people and it's such a tough decision sometimes!
Oh yes, I've seen a couple of your articles being a goldie myself, and I must say, they are truly splendid! Okay, next question, Could you please tell us about how you found this amazing site/fandom?
I initially discovered Wings of Fire around the time The Lost Continent was released, and I immediately plowed through all 11 books in a very short period of time. I then proceeded to nag my mother endlessly to preorder all the new books up until the series ended. As for the site, I discovered it probably 3.5 years ago, but I only joined about 2 years ago. I initially made an account, thought it would be a scam site, and ran aha. Later, I joined on my first account and here we are! I'm so glad I truly gave the site a try, otherwise i wouldn't know all the amazing people I do.
Woooo, another oldie! Amazing you can back though, I'm sure it wouldn't be the same without you around. Now, what's Violette like like in game? Is she a strict and grumpy staff member or is she a bright ray of sunshine?
Violette is many things, but the last thing I would describe her as is to be a ray of sunshine. She has a very dry, sarcastic personality that is rarely penetrated by others. She's gone through a lot, but she doesn't let that stop her from constantly moving forward- even when it hurts her in the long run to do so. She cares very much about her Goldies, and while she comes off as strict, she's usually chill unless someone is an inherent behavior problem. She herself started out as a behavior issue, and had a certain staff member at the time hadn't gotten her in line, she probably wouldn't be persuing the route she is now.
I wonder who had the gall to lecture Violette, they sure did us a huge favor XD. Okay, now for a fun one, who is your favorite ship from Wings of Fire and why?
I personally am a diehard Qinter (Qibli x Winter) fan, I will holler it at the top of every hill I find myself on, aha. I just really enjoy the dynamic they share and I could certainly see them being together. I prefer it over Moobli and Wnterwatcher because both the latter always have felt just a bit forced in my opinion.
Oh my, I'll have to agree with you there, the chemistry is unmatched. And lastly, could you please tell us a little bit about your person behind Violette?
Absolutely! In real life, I'm a babysitter and a dogwalker, and I love it! I also enjoy playing guitar, as I've been learning since I was nine years old. I enjoy spending my free time drawing, going on walks, reading, and writing topics. And of course, I love hanging out around site with all these amazing people!
