This week is a very, very special week. As you all know, today, 4th of January, is the First Anniversary of World of Jade Mountain. Yes, friends, yes! One year online, one year enjoying this wonderful Community and its people that many of us call Family.
"OHANA": It's the way our beloved man in green and I referred to the inhabitants of this place from the beginning.
This week many of the teams have prepared Special Events, special books and special articles; and in the SoMe Team we were not going to be less, so today I bring you a very special interview.
Of course it is about our Big Green!! he has been here from the beginning, helping to create this world from scratch and, later, supervising and loving it, loving us, because if there is a dragon in this world that knows how to demonstrate affection and love for those around him that is without any doubt Garrett Marshall, our Supervisor and beloved Man in Green.
And here is the wonderful interview he gave me.
Love, love, my dear Garrett, thank you so much for your time. Let's start with some questions. How do you feel today?
In truth Yahli my dear, I feel excited! I can't believe we have come a whole year and I know the team have worked so hard to bring you all some wonderful tasks and challenges this week and I know that we will party in style!!
That is really amazing, dear! and you? Are you going to celebrate it in some special way?
Personally, I will be raising a glass to all of you but I will be here and we will be celebrating in some very special and unique ways! When I say every team is coming together to give you one hell of a show, I mean it! Every team is doing something and who knows , perhaps I have a surprise in store for you all... you will just have to wait to find out!!
OHH! Sounds so interesting! Okey, tell me, please, you have been here from the beginning, why do you think it is one of the sites with the highest number of active users?
I personally believe its because of our community. We make this place a safe space for all and welcome all with open arms. I am honoured to be here and I consider the staff here my family, we are stronger than ever and it shows. We work well and we have fun doing it, we make people belong and want to be here and part with us... Right!?
Yesss, totally agree!! What do you love the most about this wonderful place?
Again i must say the community. I love logging on each day and seeing all of you! I love watching as your characters grow and develop, as you take on new challenges and as you grow both in the character and behind it. I'm blessed to be a small part of it!
Sure, sure! and tell me, between us only... Will there be changes in this new year?
Oh yes and we kick off straight after the Anniversary - but why would I spoil all the surprises ;)
