Highlight Class!

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Highlight Class by Brinley Sade!

Today we have another 3 year class. It is… drumroll MUSIC! Music is a wonderful class! It is a great starter for the younger students!

First year starts with an introduction. You learn the basics of music, and then get in a bit deeper to the music world. You first learn about instruments, then go on to notes and rhythms! Lastly, you go on a trip to ‘the cave’, which you do each year. Mysterious, right?

Next is second year. You learn more about where music came from. You start in Egypt and travel from place to place. That includes India, China, Greece and Rome. Travelling is so much fun!

Oh look! Third and final year. We’ve come so far! Even though you’ve probably been reading this for a minute. In your third year, you will be “Taking a look into the future!” You will try and guess what music will be like in the future! The common fads, the popular genres. You end the year off with your last visit to the cave, and an exam.

This class wouldn’t be possible without it’s amazing preceptor, Magnus Doreah! I’ve asked him some questions! Here are his answers!

Here are his answers!

How did you feel when you got the position for the specific class? - I have always had a soft spot for the Arts, so when I got hired to be the Music Preceptor I was over the moon! I never thought they would actually consider me for the job, and I am so glad they did. Jade Mountain was the first site I joined before it's launch, being on the site for over 4 months before it got to the public. The joy we had that first day of launch, it hasn't faded at all. I am still so very happy every time I am online and with users.

If you could relate one item to the class, what would it be? - Probably a lyre. I am obsessed with Greek mythology and the lyre was one of the symbols of my favourite god Apollo. God of many things, including music! Have a class on him too, go check it out.

Why should people take your class? What makes it special? - You should take my class not only if you enjoy music, but if you like a fun time. I have made my lessons as fun to read and write about as possible, and have included some fun lesson every year, where the students gain control of the class and explore their creative spirits!

Wonderful! Thank you so much Magnus!!

Bye, everyone!

And thanks for reading!
