Hello guys! Here is Delphi again!

Welcome back to Academy highlights! If you don’t know already, my name is Delphi, the bringer of this section. This week I couldn’t decide between talking about a topic and doing an interview, so I decided to do both!

To kick this off, I approached Romano Joneses and asked if I could interview him. He agreed and this is what I learned:

Hello Romano! First of all I would like to congratulate you on your job. How are you enjoying it so far?
I love my job! It is awesome. I am not so great at small-talk so talking and getting other through the interviews is a huge advantage for me here.

I totally agree. I am also not the greatest at small-talk. Do you have any advice on approaching people and making friends?
I'm afraid I am the wrong person to turn to with that sort of request. To me, personally, it always helps to make a plan on how I want to approach things or in this case, people.

Still good advice for people. I guess a good followup question would be, who would you say is your closest friend that you have made on WoJM so far and why?
Hm, I think my closest friend is Sophia. I met her down by the river, we flew together and she was really easy to be around with. I have not figured that in other people. With other people I struggle in conversations and so, she really makes me feel comfortable and confident.

That she does. As I end this interview, what advice would you give to people new to WoJM?
Read the guideline and rules! It may be said by everyone, but it really, really, really helps.

Wiser words have never been spoken Romano. I personally reread the rules and guidelines at least three times a day because I usually forget or need to double check some of the rules. Speaking of, did you guys read how much Romano likes his job? No doubt its because he is led by the awesome Laurentius Valorson who is the chief editor of the Kingdom Insider! I hear he is looking for some more salmon to join his ranks!

That being said, lets move onto the second thing I wanted to talk about. The event this week! Did you guys know that the academy was burning? No? Well the amazing plot team spent the week creating topics for us to participate in! Honesty, the titles per each topic is so creative! So I recommend that if you see our head lilac is that what we call them? or the student staff, make sure to tackle them, snuggle them, and thank them for all the hard work that they put into this quest! Then send them some gummy dragons cause those are always appreciated
